Today was our 47th Anniversary and we went to the zoo in San Diego California USA where we live. The first place I like to go in the zoo is to see the flamingos. This guy was particularly photogenic standing on one leg, head inside wings, and fast asleep. I used software on my iPad Air to remove the background and add the pastel light green to tangerine. This would make an intriguing wall hanging.
I have been interested in digital art for 10 years. I am always looking for new iPad applications to enhance my collection mostly of flowers and birds in the San Diego and Encinitas area. I love sunrises and sunsets. I also have a hummingbird feeder which makes interesting subjects of the hummingbirds. I have also worked with polymer clay, watercolor, and pastel. My subject is often my cat named Splotchy. I am originally from Gulfport Florida and now live in San Diego California. I love to walk and my camera always comes with me.
