On Memorial Day Weekend I went with my San Diego California Pacific Photographic Society Club to the San Diego Embarcadero to photograph several sites 3 miles south of the Star of India. I took my iPhone 12 Pro Max and photographed the front and mast of the Star of India. This ship is one of the landmark main attractions along the embarcadero. The weather was drab this day causing grey skies and clouds. I started this project using colored pencil and finished with watercolor.
I have been interested in digital art for 10 years. I am always looking for new iPad applications to enhance my collection mostly of flowers and birds in the San Diego and Encinitas area. I love sunrises and sunsets. I also have a hummingbird feeder which makes interesting subjects of the hummingbirds. I have also worked with polymer clay, watercolor, and pastel. My subject is often my cat named Splotchy. I am originally from Gulfport Florida and now live in San Diego California. I love to walk and my camera always comes with me.
